"This incident according to the villagers, occurred Friday, December 23, one of them, Mr. Paul-Marie Assemian, leaving, on a motorcycle for the neighboring town of Etuéboué, was arrested by elements of the FRCI for control of parts of his craft.

It does not have all the required documents is, in the words of the people of Akounougbé, summoned to give the sum of 10,000 CFA francs in compensation for the offense. Mr. Assemian which, they say, had not that amount has been assaulted and injured by young soldiers.


Alerted by witnesses, young people who have returned Akounougbé into a rage, were soon made ​​in large numbers Etuéboué, where they ransacked and burned the local gendarmerie, before claiming the departure of their village FRCI .
