Ivorian, my sister,

Ivorian, my brother,

Dear Friends of Cote d'Ivoire,

Côte d'Ivoire, our country, which saw a military and political crisis created from scratch and has lasted a decade, is now very ill and has never been as close to the precipice.

The year 2011, ending, will remain in our collective memory as one of the darkest of our young history. An absurd war, we could have done wisely the economy but that some have called all their wishes, is unfortunately arriving.

President Laurent Gbagbo, which everyone knows he had done everything to preserve peace in our country, was arrested by French forces 11 April 2011 and transferred to the Golf Hotel, the campaign headquarters of Mr. Alassane Ouattara, defeated candidate declared after the second round of the 2010 presidential election, the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

So in the name of the Sovereign People of Ivory Coast, the Constitutional Council had invested M. Laurent Gbagbo December 3, 2010, the same institution, on behalf of the international community has invested Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic, May 4, 2011.

Since then, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire is governed by Alassane Ouattara and the assembly of their R H ouphouëtistes for D and P EMOCRACY aix (RHDP) and the politico-military group called N ews F Strengths (FN) , renamed F Strengths Républicaines removes C of I or (FRCI).

The humiliating arrest and detention of President Laurent Gbagbo in Korhogo has set the tone for a pile of clouds over the entire Ivorian territory.

The consequences of the option of war to settle the contentious presidential election, it must be remembered, are dramatic:

- Tens of thousands of deaths, resulting in particular from massacres of civilians, including particularly the community Wê, west of the country;

- Population deeply traumatized by the atrocities, looting and destruction or expropriation of private property;

- Unity and national cohesion strongly shaken by a fracture which does not measure yet the magnitude and depth;

As if this were not enough, it inflicts on the Ivory Coast governance by terror takes many forms:

· On the arrests (arbitrary) massive personalities including some forty civilians (government officials, journalists, parents and relatives of deposed president) and about fifty soldiers (officers, other ranks, police officers and the like);

· On the tens of thousands of Ivorians forced into exile, in violation of our Constitution;

· On the arrests of journalists and suspensions of opposition newspapers for the same misconduct by their colleagues close to power without accordingly;

· The acts of brutality against officials FPI / NIA to prevent the holding of political meetings;

· On the abuses of all kinds committed against civilians by Ivorian FRCI supposed to ensure their safety and traditional hunters of the North, "Dozo" that roam our hamlets and villages of West and South genuine satraps;

· The flight and / or confiscation of private property and personal property;

· The selective destruction of private property on behalf of an alleged policy of public health;

· The shameless manipulation of the judiciary and state media ...

In sum, since the overthrow - April 11, 2011 - President Laurent Gbagbo by the armed forces-French UN, Ivory Coast is surrounded by a wall of silence. Our country suffers insidiously an autocratic regime in which the rulers are few cases of the Lawand Human Rights.

The F P NLOR opulaire I voirien - despite the clear desire of power and his associates to force him into hiding - remained standing. Throughout the year 2011, the REIT   has continued to challenge the new holders of power of state and their foreign backers of   the need to set a true canvas of national reconciliation. Our proposals were being derided be met with morgue. In both cases, our calls were dissolved in the din of self-celebration of "winners".

Ivory Coast, Ivory Coast, Friends of the Ivory Coast,

Today, when 2011 ends this year, we are all obliged to see that people, even oppressed, terrorized and infantilized balkanized, is still a spring to bounce back and say no when necessary. By the indifference you posted in the last elections against "non-inclusive", through a record abstention, you have to inflict a stinging repudiation to Mr. Alassane Ouattara. Your message to the approximate governance and contempt - without foundation - displayed by the international community, must appeal to each other.

And power must humbly and honestly take the consequences. With full responsibility.Without fear that heaven will fall on his head.

For its part, the REIT, which will always stand beside you salute your patriotism and your unwavering commitment to peace.

In your name, the F NLOR P opulaire voirien I invite the power to take the courageous and responsible for the following year 2012:

1. Cancel simply the latest legislative "non-inclusive" and the results are an affront and a threat to social cohesion;

2. Pay the deposit of the candidates;

3. Proceed with the appointment of a new president of the CEI, acceptable to all and the reorganization of this institution on a consensual basis;

4. Immediately open a frank discussion with the FPI, devoid of arrogance and leading to the creation of appropriate conditions for conducting elections, municipal ... truly open, fair, credible and democratic, and especially the winners will benefit from a true legitimacy from popular anointing;

5. Ending the climate and environment of terror prevailing in the towns, villages and hamlets in the Ivory Coast and exacerbates insecurity and close permanently;

6. Creating the conditions of operation of a genuine rule of law with the cessation of prosecution, arbitrary arrest and detention of opposition members FPI / CNRD victims of victor's justice.

Finally, for the F NLOR P opulaire I voirien, Côte d'Ivoire can and should get out of this mess, by the will and commitment without reserve of his daughters and son.

Therefore,

We like to express here solemnly, the sincere thanks and encouragement from the Department of REIT

1. To the people of Côte d'Ivoire for the decisive role it takes in the fight against slavery and imposture;

2. Diasporas in Africa and Ivory Coast for their important contribution to the struggle of President Laurent Gbagbo for the advent of an Ivory Coast sovereign and dignified;

3. Activists, supporters and Democrats for their strong commitment to the fight for "hurry"

· The return of President Laurent Gbagbo in our country;

· The unconditional release of all political prisoners (civilian and military);

· The judicial stay of proceedings and the return of all exiles.

In the Fight and Hope, take our destiny!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012.

The Secretary General, Spokesman of the REIT
